Fable: The Journey demo
The Fable video game series is an immersive fantasy role-playing game shot through with quintessentially British humour, and with storytelling rather than action at its heart. It’s a video game for people who love to watch the unfolding of a good yarn. The newest, Kinect-driven installation is not out until October 12th, but play the free demo of
Fable: The Journey to whet your appetite. Looks good!

The Sims Freeplay
More free games! In terms of PC games, the Sims franchise was a firm favourite of mine back in the day. Now there’s a bunch of Sims apps for the iOS, but most of them are quite limited and simply involve customising Sims or their environments. Freeplay is more or less the whole shebang: you can build a house, create characters and begin controlling their lives. It’s possible to play entirely for free, but if you want to buy your Sims nice things, then you’ll have to dig deep.

Netflix
For some of us the ability to stream TV shows and movies where and when we want to has become an intrinsic part of our lives. Thankfully Netflix has overhauled its Android app, which clearly displays on the top half of the screen where you left off from watching on your laptop or games console while tucking personal recommendations beneath. For the Gingerbread OS and newer.

Removing old Facebook posts from Timeline
In the midst of claims from Facebook users that the Timeline implementation has made publicly available older private posts, now is as good a time as any to check and tweak your privacy settings on the social networking site. It may be that you are inadvertently sharing old posts publicly without meaning to, so follow this guide from The Next Web for peace of mind. And if you want to automatically rid your Facebook wall of all old posts, download Firefox add-on Facebook Scrubber ( userscripts.org/scripts/show/119820).
