A leading global provider of information technology solutions for some of the most iconic names in the industry is to establish its European headquarters in Limerick.

Some 62 new high-quality jobs will be created by Worldwide TechServices (WWTS) when it opens its new base at the Riverpoint development in Limerick city centre next week.

WWTS employs more than 3,000 people worldwide and has customers including Dell, HP, Sony, Cannon and Apple.

The company services solutions for a variety of technologies across 82 countries.

Making the announcement in Limerick yesterday Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton, said: “This is great news for Limerick and the midwest, and I am determined to build on this to attract more investments to Ireland and create the jobs we need .’’

Recruitment for the 62 new posts has already commenced with two positions already filled. The company will be up and running from its new base by the middle of next week.
