P&O's new £9 million ($11.4 million) logistics centre in Dublin's Docklands which will initially create 50 jobs, was opened yesterday by the Taoiseach.

Mr Ahern said the 100,000 square foot high-bay warehouse at Tolka Quay would help to boost regional economic development.

The facility, built on land leased by P&O Trans European from the Dublin Port Authority, contains 16,000 standard pallet locations in high quality racking, 12 docking bays and an office complex.
