Information Mosaic, an Irish software developer for online financial services, has signed a deal worth £4 million (€5 million) over three years with Swedish bank, SEB. The company will provide a platform for the introduction of SEB's online brokerage and banking operation across Europe.

Information Mosaic secured the deal after successfully setting up online banking and brokerage operations for SEB using its software programme, converg-e, in Britain and Germany. The company now intends to expand its workforce from 40 employees to 100 by the end of June.

Financing of $10 million is under negotiation with a venture capitalist to fund the international preparations of Information Mosaic.
