The Central Bank has left the key rate at which it supplies funds to the wholesale money market unchanged. The so-called repo rate remained at 6.19 per cent yesterday. Many market analysts are now anticipating a reduction in interest rates to be signalled by the bank shortly. Some believe it may do so shortly after the latest Irish inflation figures are published next Thursday.
