Point-of-sale tech firm Rapid Technology has cut operating losses to £683,000 from £796,000 in the six months ending December 31st, 2000. Turnover rose to £706,000 from £197,000 while the gross margins achieved by the group increased to 51 per cent from 31 per cent.
