Conduit Software has announced the appointment of Mr Les Cooper as vice-president of international field operations. Mr Cooper will spearhead the expansion of Conduit's operations in Britain, Europe and Asia.

Former All Black rugby player Mr Mike Brewer has joined the Hospitality Ireland Group as chief executive.

Mr Damian Ringwood has been named new director of strategy at Prospectus Strategy Consultancy. Ms Paula Mee has joined Superquinn as its food and nutrition manager. Ms Mee will be responsible for the development of Superquinn's nutrition programme as well as advising on food-safety policies.

Mr Derek Miller has been appointed director general of the National Institute for Transport and Logistics, an independent Government-funded centre of excellence for logistics and supply chain management under the aegis of Enterprise Ireland.

3Com Corporation has announced that Mr Paul Malcolm will be heading up its sales operations in Britain and the Republic.

Metro Media Fiber Network has appointed Mr David Bates as sales director in Ireland.

MINEit Software Limited has boosted its global salesforce with the appointment of Mr Paul Dallimer as vice-president for sales. Murray O'Laoire Architects has announced the appointment of six new associate directors: Mr Cormac Allen, Ms Georgina Boyle, Mr Sean Kearns, M r Hugh Kelly, Mr Martin Haren and Mr Ger Somers. Ms Valerie Craigie has joined The Communications Partnership as an account director.

Massana has made a number of appointments. Mr Wiren Perera has been named as vice-president of marketing, while Mr Abhay Vadher has been appointed director of gigabit product development.

At Heneghan Public Relations, Ms Susie Cronin and Ms Maeve Governey have been appointed account directors.

Public relations company Text 100 has announced the appointment of Ms Carmel Doyle as senior consultant to its new international communication strategy group. Ms Doyle is president of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.

Beacon Integrated Solutions has hired Mr Alex Voye as head of consultancy services. JetForm Corporation, a global provider of e-process solutions, has made two senior additions to its management team. Mr Colm Heffernan has recently been appointed as managing director of JetForm Services Europe, while Mr Niall Griffiths has joined JetForm as sales manager for Ireland.

Mr Paddy Purcell has been hired as sales manager for IT services at Siemens Business Services.

Kingram Communications Group has announced the appointments of Mr David O'Donovan and Ms Fiona Kearns as senior graphic designers.

Dublin-based Sepro has appointed Ms Noreen O'Hare as senior vice-president, global alliances, to manage the telecommunications and e-commerce software company's alliance activities.

Mr Eugene O'Mara has joined Irish-owned provider of voice-recognition solutions Red Circle as chief operations officer. Mr O'Mara was director of EDS Ireland's communications practice.

Mr Chris Kane, general manager of corporate relations with the Irish Tourist Board, has been named as the new president of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Mr John Feely has been elected chairman of the Irish Association of Pension Funds.
