Exploration company Ormonde Mining is raising #504,000 (£400,000) in a placing and open offer of new shares and will abandon its gold interests in Tanzania to focus on other exploration activities in Europe and North America.

The restructuring will also see a boardroom reshuffle with Mr Colin Andrew replacing Mr Michael Donoghue as chairman, while Mr John Carroll will replace Mr Hugh McCormack.
