Orbiscom, the Irish founded provider of Internet payment products, has doubled its workforce to 60 since the company was officially launched in February, and says it plans to further expand its workforce to 130 by the end of the year.

Industry sources have indicated the company is very close to announcing a major deal with a global credit card issuer. It is understood the company is in talks with around 30 leading global banks, and is talking particularly closely to Visa.
