A £4.3 million investment by a printing and packaging group is expected to create 30 new jobs in the next three years at Carryduff, outside Belfast.

The investment announced yesterday by John Cleland and Son Ltd is backed by more than £600,000 from the North's Industrial Development Board (IDB).

IDB chief executive Mr Bruce Robinson said the company would expand its product range and buy new computer equipment and a high specification printing press.

Cleland chief executive Mr John McComish said the company aimed to increase sales by 45 per cent in the next three years.
