The gold exploration company, MinMet, announced yesterday that the airborne survey of its concession between Cuiaba and Pocone, Matto Grosso, Brazil, commenced on Monday. MinMet announced that results for 1998 showed a loss of £876,917 (€1.1 million) compared to a loss of £96,859 (€122,986) in 1997, because of exceptional costs in its Russian activities and its investment in eMisis.
