ITouch has acquired the assets of Worldpop, a UK youth marketing firm founded by the Radio 1 DJ turned entrepreneur, Mr Peter Powell. The Irish content firm, which is backed by Independent News & Media, will gain relationships with music content providers and media channel partners. Worldpop went into administration last month after spending millions on establishing its brand. Mr Powell no longer holds a financial interest in the firm.
