The Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC) has called on the Government, employers and staff to work together and use family-friendly policies in the workplace to tackle labour shortages.

In a new report, IBEC cites the low take-up of flexible work arrangements in the Irish economy. More than 50 per cent of Irish companies offer some form of flexible working arrangements but few employees are benefiting.
