A bay colt by Danehill out of Ingabelle was sold for £620,000 (€787, 238) on the first day of the Goffs Orby Sale in Kill, Co Kildare, yesterday, one of the best prices of the first day of the autumn sale. The colt was from the Ballylinch Stud and the buyer was Mr John Magnier. He also paid £600,000 for a chestnut colt by Peintre CΘlΦbre out of Happy Landing from the Knocklong House Stud. A bay filly by Sadler's Wells out of Greek Moon from the Roundhill Stud fetched £500,000.
