Finding the price of ale tough to swallow

REAL ale lobbyists in Britain are finding the price of Caffreys hard to swallow

REAL ale lobbyists in Britain are finding the price of Caffreys hard to swallow. The Irish ale has been criticised for being 13p more expensive than real ale.

The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) was "astonished" to find that premium nitro-keg ales such as Caffreys cost about 13p more than real ales of similar strength - Caffreys is marketed in Britain as a premium beer.

The astonished association added that some pubs in Britain are charging over £2 for beers trading purely on image. Perhaps CAMRA should check out beer prices in Ireland for its next survey.
