The Irish Exporters Association has called on the Government to cut personal income tax rates in the Budget to encourage Irish emigrants to return to the workforce from the UK. In its pre-Budget submission, the association also calls for the introduction of a gain-sharing scheme for public sector workers to help control wage inflation.

More generous guidelines for profit-sharing schemes in private firms should be introduced, the association argues.
