Gem, the global e-mail company founded by former NTL Ireland chief, Mr Owen Lamont, has taken a 40 per cent stake in Dublin-based Internet company, Adculture.net, for less than £1 million. Ad-culture was set up in March by Mr Colin Joyce, Mr Stephen Conway, and Mr Brian O'Neill. The company uses the Internet to deliver a range of targeted marketing services. Mr Lamont will join the company as chairman, and Gem's, vice-president of business development, Mr Neil Robinson, will act as managing director.
