YUKOS, a major Russian oil company, has increased its stake in YuganskOil, a joint venture company involved in the Sortymskoye oil field development, from 20 per cent to 30 per cent. It now joins Dana Petroleum as the lead participants in the project, each with a 30 per cent stake.
