DaimlerChrysler to let Holden go

DaimlerChrysler, the German-US automotive group, is preparing to remove Mr Jim Holden as head of Chrysler following mounting losses at the US subsidiary. He will be replaced by the marque's first non-US president An extraordinary meeting of DaimlerChrysler's supervisory board on Friday is expected to approve the appointment of Mr Dieter Zetsche, head of the group's commercial vehicles arm, as Chrysler's new president.
