A development site on almost half an acre at City Quay in Dublin was sold to an unnamed property developer yesterday for £8 million (€10 million). The site, which overlooks the city quays directly opposite the IFSC, was expected to fetch about £4 million at a DTZ Sherry FitzGerald auction. Planning permission was recently granted for a five-storey apartment building with basement car park on the site.
