W & G Baird, the Antrim-based printing company, has announced an increase in pre-tax profit from £2.7 million sterling (€4.17 million) in 1997 to £2.8 million in 1998. Sales grew from £34 million to £37.2 million. Chairman Mr Roy Bailie said the group was now on target to achieve sales of £45 million by the end of 2000.
