Hibernia Foods, the Nasdaq-quoted manufacturer of ready meals, has reported strong sales growth in the three months to the end of June, with turnover rising to $23.2 million (€21.5 million) from $14.4 million. The increase is due largely to the first-time inclusion of sales from the Entenmann's/Mr Brains and Freshbake Peterlee acquisitions last year. Operating losses rose to £1.17 million (€1.49 million) from £589,000.
