The Irish Deaf Golf Union will be hosting the World Deaf Championship at St Margaret's Golf &Country Club from July 28th to August 3rd, 2002. It will be the first time for this prestigious event to be held in Ireland.
Sponsors are being sought to sustain the costs of staging the championship. It is hoped also to increase general public awareness.
