Warm favourites Wilson's Hospital left it late before squeezing through against an impressive Kilkenny CBS side at Athy yesterday.
The Kilkenny outfit led 6-0 at the interval with penalties from centre Ian Dowling.
Wilson's loose head prop, James Costello finished off a good flowing movement with the game's only try. Matthew Ethell then kicked the all important winning penalty from about 20 metres.
