WESTMEATH HURLERS eased their relegation worries with this deserved victory over London at Cusack Park, Mullingar, yesterday.
By the 18th minute the visitors, had looked to be in control as they led to 0-6 to 0-2, but Pat Clarke's accuracy kept Westmeath in touch and an opportunist goal from Pat Connaughton in the 22nd minute helped the home side towards their victory.
