WESLEY College easily outplayed a gallant St Paul's side yesterday at Distillery Road.

Instrumental in Wesley's dominance was Stephen Wallace, whose two first-half tries, both converted by Andrew Copeland, helped Wesley to a 17-0 interval lead.

The second half saw Wesley continue to dominate as they added tries, first from hooker Kevin Corrigan and quickly followed by Mark Gray's excellent run for the line.

Captain Michael O'Shea finally opened St Pauls' scoring with a try after 55 minutes, but Wesley never lost their composure and with two further tries from Derek Wallace and Barry Moore, they can look forward to the second round.
