Wanderers in control from off

On a beautiful evening for rugby, both these sides conspired to give little in the way of entertainment in the first round of the Smithwicks Old Belvedere Floodlit Cup at Anglesea Road. By the three-quarter mark, Wanderers were 15-0 ahead with tries from Dara Bahra and Peter Devich. Scrum-half Marty Mahon also contributed with the opening score of the game, from a 27th minute penalty, and a conversion.
