The women golfers of Tramore golf club will be bidding for a double in the Midland District interclub finals in Athy tomorrow. The women from the South East have qualified for the league and plate finals.
The league team of Suzie O'Brien, Karen McGrath, Stella Grace, Margaret Phelan Murray and Annette Birthwisle had victories over Carrick-on-Suir, Carlow and Faithlegg and will now take on The Heath in the final. The plate side scored a fine win over Enniscorthy in the semi-final and they take on Tullamore.
