Munster SH / Toomevara 3-18 Kilmoyley 2-11: Despite some uneasy moments early on, Tipperary champions Toomevara overcame Kilmoyley of Kerry in the Munster championship in Thurles yesterday.

Toomevara's Willie Ryan netted in the 24th minute and three minutes later John O'Brien goaled to put the Tipperary men firmly in the driving seat.

Christy Walsh scored a goal to keep Kilmoyley in touch but Ryan's second goal helped Toome go 3-16 to 1-7 clear and the contest was over.
