Roscommon SFC/ St Brigid's 1-12 St Faithleach's 0-9:St Brigid's completed a historic three in a row by defeating St Faithleach's at Dr Hyde Park yesterday.

St Faithleach's drove into a 0-4 to 0-2 lead after nine minutes of attacking football. However, St Brigid's then scored seven points without reply and took a 0-9 to 0-6 lead by half-time.

The game was decided in the 51st minute when St Brigid's Frankie Dolan delivered an incisive pass to Brendan O'Brien, who blasted to the top corner of the net from close range.
