GOLF:Sweden's Maria Hjorth and Linda Wessberg, along with Norway's Iben Tinning, have been selected by Helen Alfredsson as captain's picks for Europe's Solheim Cup side.
Tinning has competed in the last three Solheim Cups, while Wessberg will make her debut. Sweden's Annika Sorenstam and Sophie Gustafson, Suzann Pettersen of Norway and Briton Catriona Matthew qualify as top Europeans in the world rankings.
The five qualifiers from the European money list are British trio Trish Johnson, Laura Davies and Becky Brewerton, France's Gwladys Nocera and Bettina Hauert of Germany.
The US side will be finalised next week for the tie in Sweden from September 14th-16th.
