As well as confirming Rose Gypsy a runner in Royal Ascot's Coronation Stakes, Aidan O'Brien also has Ascot in mind for his highly regarded Leopardstown maiden winner Pebble Island.

"We are thinking of the King Edward VII Stakes for Pebble Island. He won't run before it," said O'Brien who also confirmed he is unlikely to have runners at this week's York meeting.

This evening's fixture at Killarney can see the Co Kerryborn trainer Tommy Stack score a winner on the Flat and over jumps. Stack saddles Effusive in the beginners' chase and this 112-rated hurdler can follow up an impressive flights success on the track last year.

The Stack runner in the fillies maiden is Silver Skates who was facing an impossible task when sixth of seven to Galileo in the Ballysax but has a much more suitable target here.

Paul Carberry and Michael Halford have to be watched when teaming up and Chanoud's run behind Courageous on the Flat at Leopardstown looks even better now that Courageous won over the weekend at Navan. Chanoud and Carberry look the ones to be on in the opener while Willyever's recent from could see the horse defy top weight in the mile handicap.

Paul Carberry partnered both chase winners, Young Whack and O So Blue, for Noel Meade at Navan on Saturday. Young Whack justified favouritism on his chasing debut in the beginners' chase, taking full advantage of Annaghmore Gale's blunder two out to come home 12 lengths clear.

Jessica Harrington and Barry Geraghty were also in double form when teaming up to score with Ilaron and Courageous.
