LEINSTER SCHOOLS SHC A SEMI-FINALS: St Kieran's, Kilkenny 0-15 Coláiste Eoin, Dublin1-8:IT WAS only in the final minutes of this exciting tie at Dr Cullen Park, Carlow, yesterday that defending All-Ireland champions St Kieran's hit four unanswered points to finally see off Coláiste Eoin.

The college from Stillorgan got off to a great start and were dominant for the opening 20 minutes and they had an early goal scored by Colm Ó Cróinín. Slowly the champions gained a foothold in the game and they led by 0-7 to 1-2 at the break.

Three quick Coláiste Eoin points put the challengers back in front. The game balanced out for much of the half before St Kieran’s pulled away with points from Thomas O’Hanrahan and Michael Donnelly.
