Northern Ireland manager Nigel Worthington has drafted Linfield midfielder Michael into his squad for the World Cup qualifier against San Marino on Wednesday at Windsor Park.

Gault steps up as Chris Baird looks likely to switch to a defensive role, with Jonny Evans suspended after picking up a second yellow card in the defeat by Slovenia on Saturday.

The 25-year-old made his debut for the province as a substitute in the friendly victory against Georgia in March.
