Soccer:Arsenal have received a positive injury update for once with the news that jack Wilshere will be fit to face Barcelona, who will be without captain Carles Puyol.
The Gunners lead Barca 2-1 heading in to Tuesday's Champions League second-leg at the Nou Camp and Wilshere’s declaration of fitness is a timely boost, with Robin van Persie and Theo Walcott already ruled out and captain Cesc Fabregas and Alex Song doubtful.
The 19-year-old England international said on his Twitter account: "Just to let you know i am not injured and if selected will be fit to face Barca! Few kicks but nothing too bad!"
Puyol has been missing since the middle of January with a knee problem and, despite being able to train in recent days, is not yet to return to action.
