Ruud van Nistelrooy is unlikely to leave Old Trafford for less than £15 million. The Holland star looks set to leave the club after falling out of favour with manager Alex Ferguson.
He lost his place to Louis Saha for the Carling Cup final win over Wigan in February, and saw even youngster Giuseppe Rossi preferred to him for the Premiership finale against Charlton.
Some newspaper reports have claimed that van Nistelrooy could leave the club for as little as £10million. But The Manchester Evening News says the club want no less than £15million.
Reportedly they've set van Nistelrooy's market value after watching Chelsea sign Andriy Shevchenko for £30million and Everton pay £8.5million for Andy Johnson.
Van Nistelrooy himself says he won't be making a quick decision on his future, and has been linked with a host of top clubs. He will play at the World Cup in Germany this summer.
AC Milan, Inter Milan, Spurs and even United's big rivals Chelsea are rumoured to be among the interested parties. Agencies
