Shelbourne were pitted against Lithuania's Vetra Vilnius in the first round of the Intertoto Cup when the draw for the first round was made this afternoon.

Pat Fenlon's men, who face Cork City in the semi-finals of the Setanta Cup later tonight and were unseeded for the Intertoto draw, will meet Danish side OB Odense should they overcome the Lithuanians.

Beyond that, there is the very real possibility of a clash with Hibernian in the final with a place in next season's Uefa Cup on offer.

Scotland's representatives, who seem certain to be Hibernian at this stage, will tackle Dinaburg Daugavpils in the second round before contesting one of 11 finals in the revamped competition.
