League of Ireland round-up: St Patrick's Athletic maintained their slender advantage over Bohemians at the top of the eircom League Premier Division after a night of late drama at the Showgrounds.

Having been largely frustrated by Sligo Rovers, Ryan Guy finally broke the deadlock for St Pat's midway through the second-half.

Rovers, however, were not about to roll over and levelled matters on 80 minutes through Conor O'Grady only for Jamie Harris to grab the winner two minutes later.

Bohemians kept the pressure on the leaders with a 2-1 win, their third consecutive victory, over struggling Galway United.

Neale Fenn opened the scoring for Bohemians just before the break, getting on the end of Killian Brennan's free-kick for a deserved lead.

And, despite Mark Leech grabbing an unlikely equaliser for the home side, Liam Burns secured the points for Bohs with 15 minutes remaining.
