Barcelona are close to signing Chelsea striker Eidur Gudjohnsen, according to reports in Spain.
The 27-year-old will reportedly join the European Cup holders for around £8million and will sign a three-year contract.
Gudjohnsen is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge after the Premiership champions signed Andriy Shevchenko from AC Milan for £31million this summer.
The Iceland international would replace Henrik Larsson at the Nou Camp after he returned to Swedish club Helsingborg.
