Celtic signing Thomas Gravesen believes playing alongside Neil Lennon will make him a stronger player.

Gravesen, the 30-year-old Denmark midfielder, is adamant his arrival at Parkhead will not signal the end for club captain Lennon as many have predicted because of their similar style of play.

Former Everton player Gravesen, a star for his country in their 4-2 friendly victory over Portugal, said: "Of course I can play with Neil. I can easily play with a guy who passes the ball that well.

"He will put me into situations where I can get involved in the game and drive forward. Neil will make me a stronger player. It was the same when I played with Lee Carsley at Everton. Neil is a better passer and makes a player like me better.
