Scottish round-up:  Celtic stretched their lead over Hearts at the top of the Bank of Scotland Premier League to 13 points after a dramatic 2-1 win in Glasgow.

In the 72nd minute Hearts striker Andrius Velicka skipped past Celtic defender Stephen McManus before driving past keeper Artur Boruc and a shock looked on the cards.

But with five minutes to play the home side were back on level terms when substitute Jiri Jarosik headed a Shunsuke Nakamura corner past Craig Gordon for a dramatic equaliser.

Then, four minutes of added time, the home side snatched the winner with a scrappy McManus goal with the aid of Gordon who pushed the ball into his own net.

Falkirk's Irish striker Anthony Stokes continued his recent prolific form as his second successive hat-trick handed the Bairns a comfortable 3-0 victory over a disappointing Dunfermline side.

The 18-year-old opened the scoring inside the first minute after a cross by Alan Gow, and then added two more in the second half to follow his treble against Dundee United last Saturday.

Dunfermline rarely looked like scoring throughout a poor 90 minutes, although Greg Ross came close just before Stokes' third goal with a shot which struck the crossbar.

Hibernian manager John Collins endured a frustrating first game in charge as some poor goalkeeping gifted Kilmarnock a 2-2 draw at Easter Road.

The game erupted after a dull first half, with Michael Stewart levelling moments after Steven Naismith's shot had been turned into his own net by Shelton Martis.

Steven Fletcher brilliantly put Hibs ahead but Naismith headed home against the run of play after Zbigniew Malkowski had flapped at a long throw.

Motherwell and St Mirren also shared the points after an uninspiring goalless draw at Fir Park.

Saints striker John Sutton could have made the difference late on but failed to find the back of the net from the penalty spot in the 70th minute.

It was a fair result on a day when neither side really did enough to merit a victory.
