JIM BOLGER and Kevin Manning were out of luck with Free Judgement in yesterday’s Jersey at Royal Ascot, but can gain some black-type consolation with Shintoh in this evening’s Leopardstown feature.

The son of the Breeders’ Cup heroine Hollywood Wildcat is top- rated of the 10 runners for the Listed Nijinsky Stakes and looks a type to improve further as the season progresses.

An impressive winner over a mile at Navan, Shintoh is dropped from the 10 furlongs of the Gallinule Stakes, when third to Jan Vermeer, and is preferred to Famous Warrior.

Swiftmarc has been in good form over hurdles recently and should figure prominently in the amateur maiden, while Bashir Biyoum Zain can successfully transfer his Dundalk form to the mile handicap.
