SOCCER: FIRST DIVISION leaders Shelbourne will host holders Sligo Rovers in the quarter-finals of the EA Sports Cup following the draw made in Dublin last night.
Last year’s beaten finalists, Monaghan United, travel to meet fellow promotion-hopefuls Limerick FC in an all First Division clash at Jackman Park.
Cork City, currently second in the First Division, got the home draw they would have wanted as they meet St Patrick’s Athletic, beaten finalists in 2009.
UCD will be also be happy with a home draw as they host record nine-times winners Derry City at the UCD Bowl.
