Ulster 25 Glasgow Warriors 23: Ulster got back to winning ways in the most dramatic circumstances as a last-gasp kick from David Humphreys helped them to a Celtic League victory.

Humphreys' sixth penalty came four minutes into injury time and just two minutes after Dan Parks' third penalty seemed to have given the Warriors the edge in a game where the lead ebbed and flowed throughout.

Man of the match Humphreys not only scored all of Ulster's points - he managed a 70-metre solo try, conversion and six penalties - but also became the top scorer in the Celtic League, starting the day on 497 points and ending on 522 points after passing Gavin Henson's previous top total of 503.

Three penalties in the first 18 minutes gave Ulster a solid start and gave Humphreys his record but the visitors refused to buckle and struck back on 19 minutes when centre Graeme Morrison broke through to score under the posts.

Parks added the points and the Warriors were back in the game. With Ulster trying to play a patient game with their possession, Glasgow took the opportunity to slow proceedings down and win useful turnover ball which they used to great effect on the counter.

Two minutes before the half-hour second row Craig Hamilton grabbed the visitors' second try after the Warriors had turned over more Ulster ball and attacked down the home side's left wing. Parks again converted and Glasgow had turned things round to lead 14-9.

It was a lead they stretched by three points with a Parks penalty after another counter-attack was held up just short of Ulster's line.

Humphreys' fourth penalty, in first-half injury time, made it 17-12 to the visitors at the break after Glasgow were penalised for a high tackle on Andrew Trimble.

Humphreys intercepted a Parks kick to run in from 70 metres five minutes after the restart and his conversion made it 19-17 to Ulster. Parks then replied with a 50th-minute effort before Humphreys snatched the lead back again just after the hour with his fifth penalty.

Then came the dramatic finish. Parks' 40-metre effort in injury time seemed to be enough but, immediately after the restart, Humphreys sealed his perfect day with the winning kick.
