Greystones, Lansdowne go down

AIB League Division One leaders Shannon have secured a home semi-final tie and relegated Greystones thanks to 38-5 win over bottom side at Coonagh

Greystones head straight back to division two and will be joined by Lansdowne whose 27-20 win over Terenure in Lakelands was not enough after Dungannon recorded 38-7 win over Ballymena at Eaton Park.

A 25-03 win over Dolphin at Temple Hill sees Cork Constitution stay top.

Third-placed Garryowen won't get that home semi-final but were comfortable winners of over UCD by 34-13 at Dooradoyle.

Clontarf claimed the final semi-final berth with a 37-14 win over Galwegians at Castle Avenue.

Blackrock needed a big win and other results to go their way if a play-off place was to be secured but despite a 49-27 win over St Mary's at Stradbrook they could only make fifth.

In the Division Two final UCD have claimed the silverware with an 18-8 win over promoted Young Munster at Donnybrook.
