Rugby: France's leading sports' newspaper L'Equipe has reported that Ireland and Leinster outhalf Jonathan Sexton has officially penned a two-year, €600,000 per annum deal with the option of a third season at the Racing Metro 92 club.

They attribute their information to a source close to the club. They also revealed that the club looked at South African outhalf Morne Steyn but are delighted to have landed the 27 year old Sexton. The move was well flagged several weeks ago but the newspaper has focused on the Dubliner’s salary, which they claim will be €600,000 rather than €750,000.
