Norwich have signed former England international David Rocastle on a month's loan from Chelsea.

The 29-year-old midfielder, who has been languishing in the Chelsea reserves this season, is expected to go straight into the Norwich side for Saturday's trip to Southend with Andy Johnson struggling with a knee injury.

Manager Mike Walker has also gone back to his former club to give a trial to Everton reserve defender Neil Moore. Meanwhile striker Ade Akindiyi has completed his £250,000 move to second division Gillingham.
