Judging by some opinions only Tipperary are playing for a place in the All-Ireland semi-final; Wexford are playing for pride. Tipperary are deserving favourites and the extra week's rest will have done them good, sparing them a seventh weekend on the trot. With Michael Babs Keating on the sideline the last thing they'll do is underestimate Wexford. Keating's changes for the Cork game worked a treat, Hugh Maloney, Benny Dunne, Willie Ryan and Lar Corbett having their best games all season.

The risk of leaving Eoin Kelly on the bench is huge and despite Keating's claims the groin injury is a problem, everyone else you talk to says Kelly is fit.

Tipp are full of confidence, in stark contrast with Wexford, whose Leinster final against Kilkenny will haunt them for years.

John Meyler has made some necessary changes, Barry Lambert, Rory McCarthy and Mitch Jordan all returning to the starting line-up while out go David O'Connor, Ciarán Kenny and captain Nigel Higgins, who was dropped from the panel after showing up late to training.
