Already three-time national 400m champion, O'Donnell moved to third on the Irish all-time list with a stunning 45.55 in Lucerne in June. Sligo's first track Olympian, he was also was part of the team which secured Olympic qualification for the Mixed 4x400m relay team in Poland last May.
