The FA has announced the FA Cup semi-final between Arsenal and Tottenham will be played at Old Trafford on Sunday, April 8th, with kick-off at 1.30 p.m.. Liverpool's match with Wycombe Wanderers will start at 4.0 p.m. at Villa Park.

Dennis Bergkamp will not be travelling by car to Munich for Arsenal's crucial Champions League showdown with Bayern tomorrow as manager Arsene Wenger disapproves of arduous car journeys. Fellow striker Kanu, though, will be travelling with the team following fears he might not be back in time from international duty with Nigeria.

Rangers manager Dick Advocaat insists no manager in the world could cope with his injury-list after the Scottish Cup defeat at Dundee United on Sunday effectively ended their season. Advocaat maintains he is preparing to regroup in readiness for next season.

Aston Villa manager John Gregory has assured David Ginola he still has "a big part to play" in the club's future. Gregory had frozen Ginola out of the starting line-up for two months since the 3-0 home drubbing by Liverpool on January 13th before bringing him back for Saturday's 2-1 home success over Ipswich. Newcastle yesterday confirmed captain Alan Shearer has seen a specialist over the knee problem which forced him out of training on Saturday. The 30-year-old limped from the training pitch in some distress after apparently aggravating the knee on which he underwent surgery in December.
